Thank you to Little Bit of Everything!
IDEM has shut down the dump site that was allowing local volunteers and property owners to dispose of storm debris, at little to no cost.
We are currently looking for another option, but will be much more expensive.
There are two FEMA dump sites available for property owners to take small loads of debris, and it must be sorted. No large loads allowed.
We will continue helping when and where we can, but we need to re-evaluate how we can best help the public recover from this diaster, which has now been made even more difficult for everyone that has lost more than we can imagine.
I'm sure this isn't an exhaustive list, but each of these places deserve some credit for going out of their way to help the Whiteland Community!
We are now collecting items & gift cards that will become part of our upcoming silent auction baskets.
100% of the proceeds from the silent auction will help the tornado survivors!
You may drop off at Beeson Mechanical Service, Inc., 501 Main Street, Monday - Friday from 8AM - 5PM.
Thank you so much to those that have already brought donations!
Due to YOUR GENEROSITY, we have brought in 277 gift cards, for a total of $6,6610!
Every card goes out to those directly affected by the Whiteland tornado.
We are still collecting and distributing.
Sugar Creek BBQ will be back again at noon:
This will be FREE to all first responders, tornado survivors, and volunteers helping in Whiteland.
